Will they ever stop picking on squaddies?
Disgraceful images from a national newspaper showing brutal police attacking soldiers have shocked and alarmed readers. When will this ever end?

It's not a beret, it's a Police Helmet.

I think the weight of the medals proved too much.

Re: Will they ever stop picking on squaddies?
It's the old story. Plod asks old man to accompany him to the station, old man asks what the charge is. Plod replies there's no charge, just he's afraid to go on his own.
We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.
In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

What does he expect if he offers public criticism of Labour. Get the old reactionary away to Belmarsh, oh and send someone round to his house to confiscate any computer equipment, mobile phones and bank details. Put some pressure on his wife while you're there. They may both be racists.
