Reasons to hate Tom Cruise...

Lately I find myself more and more consumed by a desire to give Tom Cruise a good shoeing. The list of reasons seems endless:

He's practically a midget
He does that "Nobody can look me in the eye" thing, but not for the above reason
He's a scientologist, which frankly is reason enough to burn someone alive
He's never worked a day in his life
He earns obscene amounts of money for a "talent" that is practically nonexistant

How many times an hour is it healthy to think about killing him? I'm at about 3 at the moment, but I could probably get to 12 with just a little effort.

Any Tom Cruise related advice?

He's using his wife to boost his career, reeled he in good and proper.
He's forcing Scientology ono his children agaist Nicole Kidmans wishes.
He exists.

I watched a film called Lions & Lambs (or vice versa) with him last night.

He needs to be shot for that film alone.

This is the problem with a 'film career' he made a good cocky but bright American teenager who could throw an party and mix a cocktail. A nob, given. No serious mental problems caused by that. It was him and Michael J Fox really.

At some point in the maelstom which followed he popped (or 'pooped') out the other end as a frigging Samauri and a German Officer. Now I wince everytime I look at him and never want to see a Hollywood film again and a big part of why I like American culture becomes sour and rotten in my mind.

Kill him and burn every film made after the teenage ones. Yeah that includes Top Gun - yeah. It's scientifically proven to be gay.

I too thought he was a preening pratt untill I witnessed first hand the way he dealt with the producer who squirted him with water at the War of the World's premier.

Made the idiot from 'Balls Of Steel' look like a complete monkey.

He does not do the 'Nobody can look me in the eye thing'.

I agree with almost all of the points in the above thread except for this one. He actually works extremely hard, both on the actual set (filming is exhausting, even for the bit parts) and on the physical training that many of his roles require.

It's as tiring as any job that requires you to be on your feet all day, with longer hours than most civvies have to put in.

A smug, perma-grinning, rat-faced egomaniac he may allegedly be, but lazy he is not.

I definitely agree with the 'smug, perma-grinning' comments but he also has a lot of time for his fans. It is well known that he will turn up early for a film premier to sign autographs and talk to the crowd.

Sorry, but I have to disagree. I think he is a far better actor than generally given credit for and he has succesfully played quite a wide range of roles. I thought he was very good in A Few Good Men (some great lines), The MI series and, more recently, Valkyrie.

Therefore, the only reason to dislike him would be the Scientology thing.....

oh, and maybe the one about but for him Goose would still be alive that was mentioned previously.

To play devil's advocate, I will defend him! Without Tom Cruise, the world wouldn't have had as many "Alpha Males" to rip the piss out of, and his contribution to this stock has been appreciated by me.

In summary, the word cnut is overused. It is the last sanctuary for linguistical expression of utter contempt and disgust, Tom Cruise doesn;t even come close. Twat, yes. Cnut, no. Watch the video with sound, the world is a better place for Tom Cruise. It is enjoyable pissing on him.
