This board has of late had more than its fair share of postings which quote lengthy articles taken from elsewhere on the internet with little or no follow up comment.

Quite apart from the copyright issues surrounding the quoting of entire articles from other publications, this type of cut and paste is something we've tried to discourage on arrse in the past as it can make a forum very dull. Starting from now the mods in this forum WILL cut any such postings so that they display only the start of an article and the link to it elsewhere on the web. If no link is given we will cull the posting altogether.

Let's try to have a bit more original thought please ladies and gentlemen.
