Why does it give some here, such a great pleasure to 'insult" America and Americans on this board?

How long would an American, last on Arrse, if he continued to insult the UK, its Armed Forces and people? I really don't think it would be tolerated, more then a few posts and rightfully so.

We all have a common enemy, who we're at war with and will continue to be at War with this enemy, until they destory our Countries and/or kill or convert us to their religion. Or we win it!

This is their stated goal, and I for one, happen to think unless we wake up, they might just accomplish their goal! They have made no secret of these goals and if you think they don't think this, read the content of the signs at some of your own demonstrations.

This war is just as important to win as WWII was, perhaps even more so, if you hear what they say and compare it to how life was in Afganistan under the Taliban. Think about it!

So, perhaps, instead of playing the blame game and pointing fingers at one another, etc., we should try to pull together to win this war.

To be honest without the black hand we probably would have all been happy with our Arabic and/or Turk neighbours. I think radical Islamaphobia is how this all started? (i.e. WWI, mandates, WWII, Israel). Franz Ferdinand had the right idea IMO.

Actually just thought that my last comment might have been a little obtuse. I could have a really great discussion on this (or write a book ;)), but lets just say the Duke was not a xenophobe, nor what we might call today an Islamaphobe.

I insulted no one. I posted about a man's seemingly incessant need to whine to the moderator here at which time another poster brought up the man's service. The two are not related, are they?

In that case I retract my comments but I point out with respect that in the British Army certain regiments are special. The First of Foot is the most special of all because they are the First.

May I suggest you read up on their exploits and perhaps you'll find the experience enjoyable as well as enlightening.

Trip_wire it was exactly you're kind of inane drivel, ending in you expecting us to tug our forelocks in respect of the fact that the US saved us in the last war, that led to much of the slating!
