    He says he's going to send me some, though right now he's recuping from one of those car bombs that exploded...or what they refer to as a self-made explosive device. SMED I should have a few down the road though. You mind if I get a pic of a female soldier receiving a citation in Iraq? She's a re-fueler there somewhere.

    Whatever you want. Anyway, I've never heard of of an SMED. I know IEDs and VBIEDs though. Anyway, I hope he recovers well.

    Yeah, I know about her. It's not a problem posting it, but it is a DoD photo. I think this thread ought to focus on personal collection photos.

    This family made a large dinner while the marines searched. After they found no weapons and appologized, the family said they understood, and insisted that the marines join them for supper. They also offered to let them rest in their living room
