on a different note the british guys in the legion who had not served previously in the british army were the ones who seemed to think the FFL was hard training wise whilst the ex brit army guys thought it was a walk in the park, in response to Fallys post on the legions soldiering skills I agree but then again individual initiative is not encouraged and things are done as laid down in La Tradition of the Legion

I tend to stick with the British Legion, not far away, sells beer and you can leave anytime you like

Im just curious to see what Brits think about the Legion. I can understand Brits wanting to join due to restructuring, cutbacks etc. I noticed its heaving with Irish and Wirralheads as well as the other lot.
