    Mess Kit information

    hello

    I have been wondering where do the Tailors of Mess Kits get their information for the correct wear and colours also collars dogs, badges for each Regiments.

    There must be an online resource for regimental uniform wear and mess dress or books.

    does anybody know I would be most grateful for any leads, thanks

    As far as I am aware, each regiment or Corps provide them with the approved patterns, cloths, colours etc. This is reviewed periodically. Your Regt Col is usually the Dress Committee chairman.
