Whereabouts of BAOR unit from the 60's

Does anyone know of the whereabouts of "17 RVD BAOR" in the 60's and what they did?

I believe it was the forerunner of 17BVD at Recklinghausen in Germany - it was an RAOC vehicle depot. I've also seen references to 17 Vehicle Battalion RAOC.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks all.I new it was a RAOC unit in BAOR and i suspected it was a vehicle depot.Just wanted to know where in BAOR it was.Being a ex-man in green(well, black)..lol.I'm a member of The Military Vehicle Trust and a fellow club member has bought a International Half track.Which had the number 10 ZA 64.He has some info from the Army Muesum of transport at Beverley.I was just trying to track down it's journey of life from being converted to a cargo vehicle from the UK to Baor.nothing fantastic.
