Apologies if this has already been explained but I've looked and can't see an answer.

Is MTP the same as Crye Multicam? In the Briefing Note it seemed to be saying it is the same but different. I've noticed that one or two splliers are now advertising British style kit in multicam and suggesting that its compatable.

It's the same colours, colour densities etc.. But the shapes are similar to the current DPM shapes as opposed to the more US woodland type shapes on multicam.

You won't see the difference on pouches. Where it will show is on large areas like on clothing and bergens.

    Re: PECOC

Will PECOC encompass the Sniper System Improvement program? For example, the two new types of valise available (the DPM valise and the Phantom Pack which are both a vast improvement on what we had) and clothing such as the current issue concealment vest and sniper smock (which is in dire need of improvement). Or will it all just get a coating of MTP?

Been told we are getting full issue of the old stuff in the next couple weeks and MTP in April at some point, just before deployment at the end of the month.
