    Last I heard, Donnington had an entire building full of those, that were never ever going to be issued.

    Like everyone else in my Bn, I was issued a pair. Only ever saw them on the feet of the 'day to do' oldies.

    Personally, I was so embarrassed by them, I couldn't even bear even to beat my kids with 'em .

    Fairly sure the was a DIN or somesuch out that said "No going on the lash in rig unless it was part of an official function" or somesuch.

    Drinks after Remembrance, Weddings, etc = fine.

    Just going out on the smash in working dress = cunts.
