Brecon or Hereford have them in large quantities. Or just google it. They are light as feck but you can't use them for anything more arduous than a jog to the naafi, due to total lack of ankle support. Unless you are them, and your ankles are invincible.
Edited to add: Normally retail for around £160 in a shop, so anything cheaper is.. erm... cheap.Last edited by Screw_The_Nut; 24-04-2012 at 21:34.

To be fair I don't rate them, but to be fair after 6 mths on tour with 40% of my unit wearing them there was no snapped ankles. I prefer the innov8 boots

As an alternative to the Aku boots (lightweight boots for tabbing eg. CFTs etc.) has anyone tried these?: Nike Special Field boots.

Trainer like booties have their uses, however its not tabbing or yomping.
As for "Aku Navy SEAL boots" I am inclined to suspect that this is another of those products where a licensing fee has been agreed with the Navy SEAL Association. The SEAL's I have seen dapping around seem to wear privately purchased boots which in the main appear to be Merrell boots or other similar outdoor hiking boots.
