Why would you call Walt here? I am due my LS&GC this year and wasn't at the battle of golden jubilee.

This year is the first year that this will be possible.

'98 - 2002 for Kosovo. Five years in for QGJM. Could have joined late 1997 and got Banner then Kosovo, ineligible for QGJM but can get QDJM and LS&GC (15 years) this year, so I'd say that was possibly a poor Walt call, but close

Its possible. I havent got one (QGJM), but Im eligible for the QDJ, due to a four year break in service over the qualifying period for the QGJM.

I wasn't calling walt, or even trying to suggest it. Just noting that an LS&GC without a QGJM will be unusual. I'm sure there will be a few as the OP says someone who joined immediately after 2 Feb 1997 would have missed the QGJM but be qualifying for their LS&GC now or as Baldylocks says above there will be those with breaks in service in Feb 2002.
