    You have someone else wash your uniform and they use a washing machine to do it?

    Times have certainly changed in the warzone.

    In HERRICK your kit is sent back to Bastion on a 4 day(ish) turn round. A sand pikey nukes it, screws it into the tightest ball when slightly damp, squashes it into the laundry bag when it is delivered back...when you put it back on, it looks like you have trod on a 'crinkle mine'.

    H4 we were coming off patrol and just jumping in the Helmand river (not forgetting your sentries because it was before the Hesco went up)

    The Ebrief linky for wearing PCs is;

    Won't work here but you can cut and paste into DII(F)
    A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening tear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack full of French porn.

    Of course I didn't Iron the actual velcro but it still hasn't survived contact with washing machine heat, considering Uniform is "Boiled washed" in Th I'd be surprised if your 3 sets survived a tour.
    Ironing isn't that what the tumble dryer's for?

    What sentries do you mean the ANA who smoked dope and looked at cocks or the washing line that stopped you floating away.
