I never commented in a forum or contacted anyone on arrse before. I also suffered from depression on and off for a long time, thought I'd beaten it until a short while ago when I had a medical setback. Luckily the wife hasn't told me to fuck off yet but I would have if the roles had been reversed. Some quick and easy advice - talk about it. Even typing this is helping me, and neither of us know the other. Don't isolate yourself, try and go out everyday, even if its just a walk there and back again. The open air is surprisingly nice. Don't beat yourself up if you try something and it don't work, or try to change something and lapsing. Tomorrow's another day and you can try again.
