When are we expecting to get our flash new pieces of tin? February or June?
Only wondering when I can start baiting the mutleys about the new medal I have and they don't.

Well I would say probably some time in 2015. But that doesn't mean that's when its expected.

Officially wear on the 5th June 12 and not before.
Miniature and tunic ribbon on the 6th Feb 12.

The medal ribbon and appropriate miniature may be worn from 7 Feb 12 (6 Feb is also the anniversary of the death of the late King George VI and is not a suitable date to be celebrated). The medal may not be worn prior to 5 Jun 12 (the date of the official Diamond Jubilee Thanksgiving Service).

82 fucking pages and countless other threads on a souvenir! Why not just give everyone in the country one as they are, after all, living at the same time as the Queen (God Bless Her) reaches this milestone? And we used to laugh at the Yanks for their pursuit of pretty little souvenir medals.

I can say the name of that railway station in Wales, as well.
