Ajmi al-Atiri, a commander with the Zintan brigade - the former rebel fighters who captured Saif and are still holding him - said the ICC delegates had come to visit Gaddafi's son on Thursday and had asked to meet him in private, a request that was refused.

It is believed Ms Taylor was trying to convince Saif to be agreed to be tried for crimes against humanity in The Hague, rather than in Libya.

Australia wants Libyan authorities to grant immediate consular access to Melinda Taylor, and provide every assistance in securing her release.

Ms Taylor is also accused by the rebels of carrying a camera hidden in a pen, and a letter from Saif's former right hand man Mohammed Ismail, written in code.

The Zintan brigade commander accuses Ms Taylor of having falsely portrayed herself as a nurse and of having carried the camera pen with her into the meeting.

But Senator Carr says he can't comment on the rebels' assertion that Ms Taylor was carrying a pen camera and tape recorder.

I'd have thought the Zintan boys would be wanting a pretty big bung prior to hand over anybody.
That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!

    AHOY,

In south Africa its the influence of the Christian missionaries that are holding back any sexual revolutions. CNN the other day ran a story about the Ugandan government I believe passing a law against short skirts.

And I know you well be as shocked as I was, however this year in March I believe four girls in Wilcox country in the State of Georgia of the U.S. of America, had to file a law suit to fight for the right to have their own "open to all races" prom.

That's right the school board has kept the event a private one, thus sub-contracted the event out to a private company that kept the event segregated. Whites had one blacks had another etc.

This imo is Christian fundamentalist based i.e. U.S. citizens with Taliban mentality, right here in the middle of the U.S. homeland.

    G-day!
Let no Marines Ghost say "if my training had only done its job".
