It'll make the Changing of the Guard interesting, with half-companies squeezing their bearskins aboard and 'minding the gap' with their ammo boots.
If it's been sent from my HTC Sensation using Tapatalk then I'm probably pissed. We need people who look to the stars, holding the nation and the world in their hearts but at the same time we need down-to-earth people who can do serious and trying work.
In a definite sense, a country's power and prestige isn't only a reflection of its economic power but also a reflection of its people's quality and morality. Moreover, I think the latter is actually more important in the long-term.

What's to stop someone walting it up in camo and going round London for free?

Very little to be fair, especially as there's Bods from all manner of Units spread to the 4 winds in London at present & all it takes is a Mod90 & a TFL member of staff will simply open the barrier when asked to produce it.
However it's still a nice gesture all the same.

"A volunteer is worth ten pressed men."
So, a TA battalion or nine Regular Guards battalions? Not a difficult choice, then (especially as we don't have nine Regular Guards battalions).
I am a number. I am not a free man.
