That actually works. Use a random pic off google images to be on the safe side though.

If they've buggered off and left without paying rent or with outstanding bills, are there any grounds for taking 'goods to the value of..'? Mainly out of interest really, but still.

Like some of the lads who were detached from the Regiment to go on GRANBY. They took out the biggest loans available from NAAFI on the basis they would have saved enough cash to pay them off if they came back from the war & if killed they would be written off.

I've steered brettarider in the right direction, but as a result of this post and the many PM's received I'm going to put together a guide for Landlords so at least the right boxes are ticked in the event that you get a tenant that absconds or doesn't pay the rent. It'll save a lot of time and money and tears. I'll put it up within the next couple of weeks.
