German Privacy Laws - photography and filming

I'd like someone to clarify the law of taking photographs in public places in Germany. Last week, at a Christmas fair, my wife was almost assaulted by a german civilian after taking a photo of a scene.

Actually I think you re talking utter bollox. The Germans have nt adopted the Anglo-saxon PC shoite, its still ok to take photos of the xmas play etc, and you can even send crimbo cards with The Carpenter and his Slut Mum on them.

As I know the Germans so well, he was probably more worried about copyright laws, and missing out on his commission, there are, amazingly still a lot of J*w* out here!

yes germany made google blur all the faces in streetview and you can ask to to have your house blurred out in google earth. It is due to the intensive rearing of copyright/patent lawyers.
