Re: Hi from the Site Sponsor - now engraving your Regt logo

Glad you liked it Le Jaq... for your info I just posted this in the Classified Ads: - Perhaps others can now be just as pleased

NEWS! I'll engrave your name and regimental logo for a QUID! Short term promotion from 7-62.com: Simple as this: I've now got the ARRSE potatohead logo in my computer-controlled-engraving library (for you serious arrsers) plus a load of other Regiments, Services, wings etc. I sell my bullets in a metal presentation tin, which is ideal for engraving. I have decided to offer to engrave your name and logo on these tins as a promotion for only £1. If I've already got the logo you want, just stuff it in the online basket. If not send me a decent black and white bitmap (use contact web-page 30Kb max) and I'll try to add it (only regiments, badges and trades).

See the keyring/logobox part of my site Click here for 7-62.com. I'll keep this promotion going, as long as I have time. The better (clearer) the bitmap - the more chance I'll add it quickly.

Re: Hi from the Site Sponsor - now engraving your Regt logo 4 £1

Seemed like a great present so I have ordered one!

Didn't bother with the logo engraving on the tin as the recpient, ie me, won't be carrying the tin around with him.

Lets see how long it takes to get across to Germany (non BFPO). 24 hrs and counting at the moment

Thanks for your orders fellas,- I think you'll be impressed with the tin... if you are who I suspect Sig_Iceman your badge has got a lot of detail to get into 20mm... but still you can see every leaf and read every letter.

    Regards,- C

I got mine. Engraving is unbelievable, especially on the box, but the bullet is perfect - Thanks

    B'sB,

Could you do say a pair of 9mm as cufflinks, engraved along the bullet? I'm not sure how easy it'd be to get the hinge or chain fittings.

It is possible to do this, but I don't have the parts... and I can only imagine that it'd take me a mass of time to get it right, but if there's a market out there though let me know (it would have to be a few as single parts cost loads). If I were to do something special however, I would recommend a pair of AK47s side drilled and linked by chain... the 9mm's are a little stubby. (and PS can't engrave 9mm's along the bullet, only around)

    Thanks for your interest,- C

Cheers for getting back. It's great to see such active feedback. I could only rustle up a handful of orders myself and I'm obviously not sure whether the wider ARRSE community's interested. I do know people who'd be interested in the stuff you already do so i'll nudge them in your direction!

OK I'm going to look into this today... I'm guessing silver AK47, side drilled, attached to off the shelf back bars... to keep the price down. I hope £30 engraved

Or are we all looking for the Slone chain type - 2 bullets on each - and prepared to pay £10-20 extra?

(PS - Do you know Felix?... your handle has a familiar ring)

Hi Steven... the cheque is in the post... honest (and my best friend is a gunner etc!) - I think you may have read the site wrong - it's one day to dispatch rather than to delivery... I can't control the Bundes-postal-troopers of course... (though many have tried)

It'll be with you soon,- C

OK I made these for myself... and bugger me they look good. I'll do a few, for Arrsers only, by special arrangement - You will get 2 cufflinks = 4 silver plated bullets, 2 of the bullets will be engraved with your name & whatever (number?) around the bullet 2-lines. See more photos by Clicking here. (Appologies for my wife's puny wrist!)

Cost = £39, no guarantees - these will not take mess rugby! - at least I won't guarantee them for that... they will however be exclusive.
I will sell them for a tenner less without engraving... but I prefer to sell them as top-end, one of a kind... never run out of a topic of conversation at the mess type affairs.

By personal agreement only - contact me on arrse@baldricks-bullet.co.uk

Hi Chris. It has just just turned up, a hair under 72 hours. Good going.
Looks the dogs dangly bits as well.

Only problem now of course is where to display/wear/attach it?
