I was going to order a 155 for you - but only 'cos there was nothing else which had room to engrave your waist measurement on it.

Re: Hello from the new Site Sponsor - out on a limb
Thanks for all your replies (and orders) - I've got a few 5.56's but trust me they're small and although I've engraved one, I'm not planning on selling calibres of that size. Until things get going I'm sticking with 7,62, 9mm and .338... but who knows what the future may hold.

We did this same thing on Op Granby, I'm still here so it must work!
Allow I feel that it would be just as easy to do the same thing after a day on the ranges....

Is he the chap who tells you where to sit to watch the legal procedings, or a senior RAF lawyer?

Re: Hello from the new Site Sponsor - out on a limb
I love the idea, but when I went on your website to get one for my mate, I couldn't find a / under the list of characters which can be engraved. Are all the years of self abuse finally catching up on my eyesight or can you not do a forward slash?

No feel free - use it "/"... I took it out of the list because someone tried to use 3 in a row and for some odd reason my engraving machine wasn't 'avin none of it! But the site still accepts the sign without sending you a rude pop-up so just crack on (don't use 3). - C

Got my 9mm head today. Very very impressed. Product and delivery. Tin it comes in also very good.
Onlt one gripe (well, I was a WOI & nothing's perfect!) The engraving size is obviously set. Makes my name very small. Be nice if size of engraving was zoomed to make max use of area available on bullet.
Still, I'd buy another one if need arises.

Re: Hello from the new Site Sponsor - out on a limb
Hi OldRedCap... Thanks very very very (can I say it enough) much for your feedback... it's just what I need. The engraving size has been set, but it is also easy for us to be flexible. There has been much discussion here about how far around a bullet engraving should go in order to keep it legible, and this has set the font. But I just looked at your order and you probably have one of the shortest names on the parade square! In future we will endeavour to reset the font size in these cases. As thanks for your feedback a new revised bullet is in the post. Your 9mm must have your name standing proud!

I can also engrave them with logos, now that my software has arrived; I've done a couple of tests and they look really good. I'm building a library of bitmaps at the mo - (see how on the site "logotins") - so if you have any logo or regimental bitmaps that would be really popular, please send me a copy.

Re: Hello from the new Site Sponsor - out on a limb
Chris,
I am very pleased with my bullet. The quality of the bullet, tin and engraving is all first class and my order came very promptly.
I've got to sayI was also very impressed with Chris’s can do attitude. I asked if he could bend the rules a bit on the minimum order of ten so that I could have a logo on the top of my tin and he was kind enough to oblige at a very reasonable cost.
I’d certainly order again.Only two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not entirely sure about the universe.
