How many members of the Bush administration does it take to replace a lightbulb?

    The answer is 10.

    1. One to deny that a lightbulb needs to be changed,

    2. One to attack the patriotism of anyone who says the lightbulb needs to be changed,

    3. One to blame Clinton for burning out the lightbulb,

    4. One to tell the nations of the world that they either favor changing the lightbulb or support darkness,

    5. One to give a billion dollar no-bid contract to Haliburton for the new lightbulb,

    6. One to arrange a photograph of Bush, dressed as a janitor, standing on a step ladder under the banner "Lightbulb Change Accomplished",

    7. One administration insider to resign and write a book documenting in detail how Bush was literally "in the dark",

    8. One to viciously smear #7,

    9. One surrogate to campaign on TV and at rallies on how George Bush has had a strong lightbulb-changing policy all along,

    10. And finally, one to confuse Americans about the difference between screwing in a lightbulb and screwing the country.

    Old, but appropriate for today:

10 Reasons Why A Gun Is Better Than A Woman

    1) You can buy a silencer for a gun.
    2) You can trade in a .44 for a .22, and get change
    3) You can keep one gun for the home and a spare for travelling.
    4) Your gun speaks ONLY when you allow it to do so.
    5) Your gun doesn't get jealous if you trade it in for a newer model.
    6) If you admire a friend's gun and tell them so, they'll be impressed and let you try a few rounds with it.
    7) Your primary gun doesn't mind if you have a back-up.
    8) You can lock your gun in a closest without it whining.
    9) Your gun fires whenever you want it to as many times as it takes to satisfy you.
    10) Your gun will stay with you, even if you're out of ammo.

    Please note:

    premature

adj 1: born after a gestation period of less than the normal time; "a premature infant" [ant: full-term] 2: too soon or too hasty; "our condemnation of him was a bit previous"; "a premature judgment" [syn: previous(p)] 3: uncommonly early or before the expected time; "illness led to his premature death"; "alcohol brought him to an untimely end" [syn: untimely]

I think I am aiming for the latter definition!
