"The Troubles" in pictures. (Belfast Post over the years)
I found these whilst nosing around. I thought they may be of interest to the old and bold.
Its worth a sift, theres a few gems in there.

Poignant. Very very sad and regretful period that too many still want to see a resurgence.
The likes of Lennon and the jap slap sticking their noses into the fray didn't do any possible chance of peace any good either. How many of the 'celebs' conveniently overlooked the fact that the troops went in to protect the RC nationalist population in the first place, just so they could get a good trendy photo opportunity. Thanks to all who read my little contributions and don't shout nasty words at me, it means so much and I like the likes. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my parents for their tremendous support throughout my career and without whom I would not be standing here today. Also my agent, she's been my rock.
Do be careful though as Hector and his clique may descend upon you with their stock in trade proclamations of your inherent inferiority. And as it's the internet, they get off on it.

True. Didn't you like the snappy stable belts the players in that funeral picture?
