My memories seem to all be like black and white photos these days, but these three pics sum it up for me:



The last pic is particularly close to home as I was in a similar situation, knocked unconscious by a flying brick and had to be rescued and dragged away from the crowd by my mates. IIRC my Pl Sgt led the charge into the crowd to rescue myself and a Cpl who had been hit in the face with a broken bottle.
