So did Katie Melua. But she at least lived there - which Boney M probably didn't.

That leaves a heavy, empty feeling, not often I am at a loss for words

I found many of the pictures uncomfortable for all sorts of reasons and emotions. Still, thanks for posting.
RIP Jock D, you are not forgotten.

A picture of our old "Skyshout" Sioux helicopter, wrongly named as a Scout, I remember we got a bolliking for flying it over Belfast playing Christmas Carols, on the morning of the 25th Dec 1971

I was actually just talking to a guy I know about the troubles, he's of the opinion that the British army and the RUC were unspeakably cruel etc to the protesters , terrorists and various naer-do-wells of that period , at the time I politely disagreed. Now, I'd really love to wring the bastards neck.. I mean , any organisation that declares it's for the 'freedom' of a people, and goes about obtaining that goal by killing, wounding and terrorising parts of that people has no ground to stand on. And the fact that the feckers are fighting about two sides of the same bloody religion... I've a mind to...write a letter and have a cup of tea.

Remember watching the protesters try to tip the Snatch... thinking to myself 'if tht thing rolls, it's going to be a win!' Whichever way it rolled it was going to crush about 20 odd scroats.
Pretty disheartening really. The kids only wanted to go to school and grow up. We should have corralled the cnuts wanting to have a ruck to the waste ground and told them to crack on. The tears and crying by the kids was pretty disheartening, who even brought up inthe situation they had been couldn't fathom the hatred or the reasons for it.
Don't remember the Posty though... certainly puts the current postal situation in Doncaster in perspective!
