Which is why I am sure, you will have evidence to back up your claim that space aliens exist?

Do they do them in DPM? And if they do will it come from Man at Q&M in the very fetching new multi - country pattern?

We could all then go about anywhere in the world and not be seen and thus get away with it all!

The French do a zip up fleece style cardi for wearing with uniform. I bought one whilst on Ex near Rheims and wear it around the barracks just to get up the noses of various senior non cardi wearing chaps.

    It always works.

I started wearing cardis at school in 1967 as I could wear it under my uniform jacket and keep warm in the sub-zero classrooms.

    It worked then, too.

Right. Time to test. In 5 minutes I intend to walk into the bar. In me Cardie. I shall report back. If I don't, tell me Mum I loved her.

Glad the thread/knit still exists, though!

Go for it .... I am sure your Mum will not have to be contacted . Cardies are " De Rigeur " this year .... everyone in the Bar will be wearing one !

FFS, this gets worse by the minute

Do you honestly expect to garner support for cardie-wearing geriatrics being allowed in decent places by this campaign?

Jesus. I am doomed to be thwarted. My life is just one big thwart. I walk in the bar, proud in me Cardie and am totally ignored. Tashy Blackie has won £12k on the horses.

Twelve. Thousand. Pounds. On some dodgy accumulator involving... wait for this... the names of his new bosses. You couldn't make it up.

So what with fighting my way to the free bar and everybody declaring how much they always loved Tashy Blackie, nobody gave a rats what I was wearing.

    Thwarted.
