So let me get this right - even though I'm doing quite well for myself, I should jack it all in and join the TA just to say "I have served" ? Thanks but no thanks. Do you have a superiority complex?
How does the dictionary entry for "smug" and "deluded" read?
Pick up those tumblers when you're done will you? Cheers.

Done my bit, someone else is doing the job now. But I am not a civilian, I am an ex-military reservist.

I rather think you are struggling with an inferiority complex, is it your weight problem?

This has got to be a wah, having a degree or Masters dosent qualify you to mix cement you doughnut. Its like saying I did a RMA course in the Army and I cant bake a cake. Feckin chimp. Your boring, why dont you feck off onto one of your civvy sites and leave this one alone to people who have achieved or will achieve or are linked to same.

Haha, I'm loving this. Talk about context and missing it.

And who are you to talk anyway? You're going to be a civvy sometime aren't you? You think you're better than us, when you are not.

Here we go, the old "pocketing 5 figures a month". Yes, £100.99 in dole. That's 5 figures.

You could bet all you like, I would not care - don't you have your "5 figures a month" to be earning?

Re: Observations of civvy st from an ex perspective
The fact is, I've just proven there's people on here who can dish it out but can't take it.
The minute someone takes you to task you get all uppity and then try to prove how you are, in some way, superior. But instead I've made you look like mugs, or smug arrogant idiots.
To the decent squaddies out there who were civil in this convo, and realised I was taking the p*** back, I salute you. To those who generally think they are superior, yet are dense as slabs, get a grip!!!
Maybe you should spend your 5 figure sum on learning some new patter

Re: Observations of civvy st from an ex perspective
Im a civvy now you silly boy. We think we are better than you because in a nutshell, we are. Even the worst recruit ever, binned after day 1 etc is more of a man than you, a higher achiever than you and more likely to get a job working for me than you would. At least he tried, you didnt even get on the bus for basic. Mike Golden may be a prat, but he tried and ranks higher in my book than you do you dull trolling w*nker.

Isn't this the point in the conversation where you tell us all how big your house is, your car and how wonderful life is?

Now, one must work, but I will be back. In the meantime, tell your subordinates how wonderful you are
