The fact that we continue to have a military as we have done in the past, is what ensures you can continue to live your banal little existence with some continued degree of security and freedom.
Edited to add:
Even the most pathetic human creature to be born in the UK qualifies as a UK civilian - not quite so easy to qualify to call yourself a serving or ex-soldier though is it
How does the dictionary definition of "inferior" read......
Oh Christ here's another one. Not only taking my sand and cement mixing literally (but yes, I did work as a labourer) but coming on telling me how you're single-handedly keeping me safe in bed at night. I wondered how long it would be before the old "I am" speech.
So let me get this right - even though I'm doing quite well for myself, I should jack it all in and join the TA just to say "I have served" ? Thanks but no thanks. Do you have a superiority complex?
How does the dictionary entry for "smug" and "deluded" read?
Pick up those tumblers when you're done will you? Cheers.

I respect army boys - I work with a couple in my office - but I wouldn't respect snides who look down on me just because they've served.
Yes, of course this really happened didnt it. You lying cnut. You were rejected because you were and are a mouthy cnut of the highest order.

Done my bit, someone else is doing the job now. But I am not a civilian, I am an ex-military reservist.
I will be paying 9 people this month (8 IIRC are degree qualified) while I work part-time and pocket 5 figures a month, I can afford to be smug.
I rather think you are struggling with an inferiority complex, is it your weight problem?

So anyway bawbag, you have a Masters degree yet no idea how to mix cement? Hmm.
This has got to be a wah, having a degree or Masters dosent qualify you to mix cement you doughnut. Its like saying I did a RMA course in the Army and I cant bake a cake. Feckin chimp. Your boring, why dont you feck off onto one of your civvy sites and leave this one alone to people who have achieved or will achieve or are linked to same.
Oh, by the way, I got a 1st in I.T. whilst still serving in HM Forces, then a Masters in History whilst hang on..... yes, still serving in HM Forces. So when you want to swap spit about getting a degree, think that plenty of squaddies do this sort of thing whilst still serving.

Haha, I'm loving this. Talk about context and missing it.

And who are you to talk anyway? You're going to be a civvy sometime aren't you? You think you're better than us, when you are not.

But obviously one with greater experience and more qualifications than you.
I could also lay a fair bet he would be more reliable, more trustworthy, harder working and more honest than you.

Why are you still here
You could bet all you like, I would not care - don't you have your "5 figures a month" to be earning?
I'm here because I'm enjoying this now. It's near the end of the month, don't you have pay packets to fill out?

Others now earn it for me.
Pay goes out on the 15th, someone does that for me to, I just check and sign.
