I've done some networking this morning had the rumour confirmed this morning its a definite tasking for 34 - all other plans dropped!!!

34 would be called up by 15 Bde as 34 is under their control, 38 comes under 2 Sig Bde (although it provides 15 Bdes 'Close' Support Sig Sqn). Wouldn't members of 34 be supplying reinforcements to the CCRF, not comms.

Anyway this all sounds too fishy to me, get TA out this weekend when we are expecting floods!! Forward thinking, this day and age.

I know 34 had a MATTs weekend planned. Apparently anyone turning up for that will be aiding the flood contingency thingamywatsit, perhaps with some MATTs stuff chucked in as well. That's the story I hear.
