Difference now is that there ain't no cash, nor desire. Whereas I suspect that before, it was a matter of pride; now, it's just a matter of AiS. Still, the presence of the RFCAs will brighten things up. Originally Posted by Dr_Evil

As for the CofC not telling anyone, the reason is that most, if not all, confirmed events are piggy backing on existing FOE planning. Nothing of any note (i.e. a flypast by AAC TA pilots across London dropping yellow and green poppys onto the Mall) has been agreed.

That photo of Scarborough in 1904 looks uncannily like my 2004 "camp", - SLB acclimatisation! Are you sure it is from 1904??????
