There is only one AOSB for both regular and TA and has been for quite a while. So yes.

Yes, my recruiter actively encouraged joining the TA whilst going through the process.

Friend of mine did this. Joined TA RE, with a view to doing a tour, went back to AOSB with a view to joining the RE as a regular, at the tail end RMAS got Royal Regt. Scotland, which I think he was fairly happy with ultimately.

A minor point - it's just AOSB. You do the same AOSB to get into either the regs or the TA. Semantics I know but it's important that people appreciate that you sit the same assessment whether you are going full or spare time. Originally Posted by gamersguru123
