Jesus fucking wept on his cross! Do you people actually bother to read what I take the time to painstakingly elaborate?
Firstly, the ACFT 1 & 2 are not replacing the AFT/CFT, they are a different set of tests altogether and not a part of your MATTs. The only reason that I spelled out what they were, was because a couple posters have previously misidentified the AFT by calling it an ACFT.

Secondly, if you reckon that the old Brecon two-miler is "a bit poor", then crack on kid!
Ark at her, somebodies tired :D

BCFT/AFT/CFT whatever you call it is a pretty basic test and not really one to get excited about.

RP578Stroppyb'stards (a possible new title for you?) post shows the whole range of phys avaialable out there, though RP all you have probably done is scare off most of your contemparies :D who think a 1.5 mile run in daps isn't really a fair thing to be thrust on the TA who don't get all the time to train like us ARAB's.

To be fair, I think certainly in the TA unless you're deploying ACFT 1+2 is something you'll only see in the Infantry.

We do ACFT 2 once a year, and ACFT 1 as and when - usually to break up the tedium of Sunday morning CFTs with something more 'interesting'.

Infantry - When you absolutely positively have to kill every mother f*cker in the trench... Accept no substitute.

Good lad, expect you to work on it by the next one. Under 10 for the next one.

At the end of the day, 10.21 is still a pass(though a weak one ) , so hats off, i saw people patting each other on the back just for coming in in under 14 minutes!!!!!!

Apart from location, is there any major difference between the P-Coy 2 Miler, and the well known Brecon 2 Miler?
Excerpt from The Four Slappers of the Apocalypse.

And when I had opened the fourth beer, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and her that sat on him was the wife, and Hell followed with her......

Probably not. 2 miles, 18 minutes, 35lb (IIRC) and a jack waggon following along behind to pick up bits of lung that you have coughed up along the way! :D
