Actually, I just ignored your comment as very similar ones had just been made and dismissed. I did not mention fraud wrt your posts.

you spouted some half understood latin crap and were shot down then decided to take a cheap swipe.
So I've no idea about Res, then? OK. I've missed the bit where you shot me down.

Point out anything I have missed.
    Just the facts. See above.

HOWEVER, if I have upset you and broked the rules of your little gang, I shall remove myself from the conversation. May I suggest in future that if you have a question but only want certain people to answer it and in a certain way, use PMs instead?
I think I've sent three PMs so far. You are adding nothing, please go away.
I was obviously wrong then. The message from yourself "not acceptable its fraud, does solid c mean anything to you" straight after my post appeared to be aimed directly at me. Funny how that works.

Anyway, as this is obviously a private conversation, I shall indeed go away. I hope you get the "right" answer you are looking for.

We've setup a bar committee which I think is pretty similar to what others have suggested. Basically we volunteer to do it but we rotate it through people so the same person doesn't get dicked for it all the time. Those in the committee are "good attenders". Money goes towards the battlefield tour at the end of the year.

I think my first stint is tomorrow.

    The facts would indicate otherwise.

Clue; go and actually look at the post immediately following yours, which was immediately prior to the post of mine to which you refer.

    Funny how that works

You can apologise for your petulance should you wish
Bravo Bravo sets himself a depressingly low standard which he consistently fails to achieve.

Good news.....but before someone jumps on you - make sure its run as a pukka "non public funds" account, proper books, max (15% ?) profit etc. I take it the PSAO is involved ?

You are dead right. I missed a post, and was responding to the wrong point. My mistake - and I shall be more wary of that in future.

As for apologising for my petulance - you can kiss my hoop. Petulance in regular usage assumes insolence - or a superior / inferior relationship - which I don't see here (actually, the same goes for me apologising for anything, pretty much).

And make sure that you either:

    1. Have one person willing to assume responsibility for stock and cash at stock check purposes, whoever has been behind the bar (in effect, they guarantee the money taken will match stock consumed - out of their own pocket if needs be) or
    2. Do a stock check before and after each bar session, so the duty person for that night is only held accountable for the funds and stock on the night they were on duty.

Best you spend your bar profits on a dictionary: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/petulance
I can see it now, in a decade ARRSE will be full of young thrusters who will be complaining about all the old farts who go on about HERRICK, lurk in the office, "enable" stuff and how it's got fuck all to do with what's going on now.

I tend to use merriam webster - which agrees with me on this point.*

*I don't use them just because they agree with me on this point - more the other way round if you see what I mean, I relied on their definition before posting.

May as well, there's no chance of ever getting a drink.

    Been waiting hours now.
I bought a military watch. It didn't tell me the time, it told me to get my hair cut.
Scribbler of long and boring stories since 2006 with most of them chucked in HERE.
