I thought a CFT was simply a matter of starting at the beginning and not stopping until told to...
Despite the severe ragging I took for that piece, there were still too many units who have not prepared their SUT's to do a CFT in any way shape or form and too many SUT's who have clearly not put any/ nearly enough preparation. I feel a sense of smug vindication coming on

West Midlands/Shropshire area. Thinking inf or Yeomanry, which units? I know RLMY or RMLY (never remember which way round it goes) is a local unit.

Not a wah, a genuine question.
After what you've just said about TA in another thread?
Why, don't you think i might bring something to the party? But fair enough, point taken.

    Good job, OC.
Bravo Bravo sets himself a depressingly low standard which he consistently fails to achieve.

Now updated to add in a section about admin in the field which I had ommitted (good job its another quiet day at work really! )

Edited to add: It is now showing after a TOTAL rewrite when the ARRSEPEDIA spam filter deleted an hours worth of typing following an inserted linky in the new paragraph

    Re: cic

Just remembered another thing and added it to the Arrsepedia site: The PRI shop at VIMY barracks is excellent and VERY cheap (Eg. Jetboil at circa £55). The guy who runs it is also really nice and will open up out of hours for the TA if he has notice. The guard house MAY have his number and he is happy to be contacted within reasonable hours if a load of you are coming in to buy stuff. WELL worth a trip if you need anything from KFS to softies tops. The NAAFI's on all of the barracks are VERY expensive; (Harribos about £1.90 a pack!) you have been warned.

*makes mental note to stock up on haribbos*

Not to completely hijack this thread, but does anyone have any top tips to legally and illegally clean the SA80.
Something of a pet peeve of mine that is becoming a right pain in the bum. I would like some way of not looking like a mong come CIC.
Side note; I'm not that bad, but some things, for example the chamber (monkeys arse as highlighted in OC's wiki entry) are tricky to get right in there.

If this is highjacking, I'll open a new thread, but I don't see it as being thread worthy unto itself.
