I stand corrected, when I said two weeks for the basic course it is Monday to Friday with weekends off,bar the two weekend courses at Malta Barracks which covers form filling! one weekend and stretcher and log use the second weekend the other two,two week courses are for Intermediate PTI and Advanced PTI which up untill April this year no one had done as the ASPT had not yet squared the Advanced course away.

Anyone any gen info on the Intermediate Course? I've been out of the loop for a while (did BM1,2 & 3 in 2007). I've asked my OC if I can get a bid in for it, but know very little about what it entails.

BM 1, 2 & 3 are being offered as a 5 day course in some locations.

    Time for some thredomancy.............

Can anyone tell me if the CFT weight is scaled for capbadge or is everyone on the 25kg?
Chances of promotion are inversely related to how hard you work.

Only special needs. I'm RAMC so normal weight for us is 15, I'll get cracking on the 25.

I was just on the PTI basic course at grantham recently and the AFT weight scales were down to your CEG, so yours will be 15kgs unless you are para/cdo trained then it is 25kgs.

That is, if they actually do one. They sacked it on mine as they thought everyone would be fucked. Which I thought was absolutely pathetic. Equally pathetic were the shit cunts who couldn't even pass the PFA on day one.

Fucking TA. There were some right creatures on it, they couldn't wait to get there little gay vests and tshirts on and start larging it when they passed.
    Praetorian and supermark500 like this.
I hope all the politicians who were depressed and stressed because they got caught fiddling expenses are feeling better after their 3 months off.

I bet the lads in Afghanistan were worried sick about them.
