Re: contract terminated
Should I go to NEXT STEPS and get an ACTION PLAN? I don't think I want them to iron my bumbs though.

Re: contract terminated
A personal brand, what total and utter bullshit. That crap is symptomatic of the new labour approach to the world, all spin and no content. You need skills, experience and the right attitude, the rest is superfluous rubbish.
Write a decent CV then apply for jobs you can do."Remember that you are an Englishman, and have consequently won first prize in the lottery of life".

Re: contract terminated
You're right, skills, experience and the right attitude are all you need in the military but in civvy street it's me first, so marketing yourself gets you places.

I want to know what people are trained to do, what they have done, and how well they have done it - based on key performances. Statements about personal attributes such as "I am a dedicated team player, always striving towards my goals, but with great interpersonal skills" are ignored as the lies they usually are.
After all, no-one would ever put "I am as jack as fuck. I do the bare minimum I can get away with, and will trample over anyone who stands in the way of me achieving more pay for less work" despite that being a far more honest appraisal of most people's personal profiles.

Never believe anyone who is an expert without any experience, or has just finished a Uni course and is willing to sell you their services and experience when in reality they have none. Get a good CV (there are people on here who can help) and sell yourself, for the other do gooders who will sell you help it is a business they are not your pal they just want your cash that’s how they earn a living.
In God I trust everybody else signs.
