Re: Mornington Crescent
Welcome back 'archangel' you have been sorely missed. There are a handful of fiends playing at the mo' - 'Chef', 'R14D', 'devexwarrior' to name the 'naughtiest' and 'trickiest'.
The 'naughty' 'Chef' had us all tied up in Debden of all places but he used 'Allbright's Opening'. There were some vain attempts to move but the ground-frame at Wimbledon Park was 'broken' and no escape was possible.
We got to Vauxhall and the fiend put us back to Warwick Avenue. Do you see what he has done to your Hammersmith? I have a feeling he is an old International player - he certainly played for the Army.
Eureka - of course:
KILBURN PARK
It was Warwick Avenue that threw me, plus yesterday's journey!

Re: Mornington Crescent
As a whimsey and because I can, how about taking the Alexandra Palace branch to Cranley Gardens (Northern Heights exemption as permitted under Smith's Expenses Claims (as are most things))
They shall mount up with wings as eagles.

Hum! Highgate - Cranley Gardens - Muswell Hill - Alexandra Palace.

You may as well use Palace Gates (Wood Green) - Noel Park - West Green.
However, because you can - you can.
Interesting to see what 'Chef' makes of it, let alone R14D and poor old 'Archangel' only just warming up.

Re: Mornington Crescent
"Poor"? and "OLD"??!! Right! The gloves are coming off now!
Notting Hill gate - which (I'm sure I need not tell you) gives me the option of a lateral dangleberry at the Edgeware Road interchange!
Damn if feels good to be back! This will be just like Belsize Park all over again!Unquestionably, it was going to be highly dangerous... And, what the hell, I figured, nobody lives forever!

Re: Mornington Crescent
Hurrah! rich and young 'archangel' rejoins the game - adding a certain tone to the vulgarity of it all.
He even tries to fool us with his mis-spelling of 'Edgeware Road'.
(That said, I saw that spelling of Edgware Road on the blind of a 'C' Stock set on the Edgware Road to Wimbledon route. When I reported it, I received the blankest of stares. I reported it to a Station Supervisor (ex RN) and the blind was changed.)
So, Notting Hill Gate leads to: Yau Ma Tei.
Sorry, 'BuggerAll' buggered me up there for a moment.
No, lost it. (Sulk, pout, whine).

Methusalah's vagabond bind leaves only this from notting hill gate...
Baron's Court.
Yau ma tei is invalid on a thursday in october on odd numbered years of a new century.

Re: Mornington Crescent
Yes... I can't fool you isquared. You spotted my deliberate misspelling of Edgware Road. (It would have earned you a one way ticket to Nid if you hadn't spotted that!)
'Ronaldo exemption' applies to all stations which DO NOT have disabled access to lavatories on a Whitsunday. Although this clearly only applies on the Circle line in the anticlockwise direction.
Right then... Alperton !
(Ha ha!... evil cackle... sits on swivel chair, stokes Persian cat, and awaits Mr Bond's arrival... "I've been expecting you etc.)Unquestionably, it was going to be highly dangerous... And, what the hell, I figured, nobody lives forever!
