Whether they are or are not associated with Jimbo is irrelevant, this thread is for Jimbo, don't tar anyone else. I'm sure they are a bona fide company who would get upset at the implied association.

Wine? That means you're in direct contravention of the punky chicken's Prime Directive, Article 3. You bad man. Anyhow, what's wrong with ale? Not good enough for you now you're Lord Baron Sophist of Wasteland... your Excellencyship!

    GGG "
I'm not sure if this has been analysed but another number quoted by Jimbo is 76B5310E. I notice that the search function at the NMC is only for those who held "effective registration on Saturday, 29 November 2008" ie as at yesterday. It lists Mrs GGG. "

76B5310E is a valid format for NMC numbers. The odd thing is, there is no trace of that number in the NMC database. Nothing at all. This is distinctly dodgy as every PIN number has a history attached to it... that is the nursing school, date of entry, date of qualification, etc even those who have failed in the SRN/RGN exams have PIN numbers which can be verified - Nurses who have been stuck off also appear on the database.. For there to be no trace at all is very very strange.

The 76 in the PIN means that the person concerned would have started training in an approved nursing school in 1976. Qualification as an SRN or registered general nurse would have been at the very earliest in 1979.
First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.

    MD

Is there an accessible online search for historic entries? The NMC search that I can access only pulls up those who are currently registered to practice. I tried to search for the entry for the comedienne Jo Brand as a "test" with no joy. Perhaps the Pox_Dr can have more success?

It would appear that Jimbo continues with his peripatetic existence. A contact address in Purley listed in a CV does not seem to have anyone listed in the Electoral Roll.

Hardly surprising in Jim's case. I doubt he's in one place long enough to register. Anyway, surely his heart and his business are "across the water", where he may be a registered voter at several hotels and golf clubs in addition to his wee bungalow.

So why on earth did he also cite ...
Shortt claims he became a Registered General Nurse on 10 April 1978 with registration number 0536886
What's the provenance of that number? I'm sure a super-spoofer like Jim wouldn't just invent a random number. Is it an Army number of some sort? Or are they all in that 234xxxx sequential arrangement?

And why is 76B5310E missing from the database?
And why does he claim a 76 prefix when he supposedly started at the Mayday in 74

Is it a typo? Should that number actually be 74B5310E?

Or is it more lies, Jim? Surely not?

    BS

There is another CV for Jimbo which is not as yet totally in the public domain. It was from that we have gleaned both his Service Number and his NMC ID.

As far as the NMC is concerned Jimbo is not registered to practice as a nurse within the UK. Whether or not he was previously registered remains to be verified.
