When you spotted them it was a number in Herford you had to call to report it. This was to try to keep a track of where they went. We all were issued these and carried in the wallet.

Yep I remember you carried your SOXMIS card and GREEN ROA card when on duty. If you sighted one in a area where they shouldnt be you had to detain them by boxing them in on autobahns etc, personally never saw one though

Well I stand corrected just saw card DO NOT DETAIN but Im sure on Int briefings if we had one in our convoy we had to detain, im confused and it was a long time ago.

I suppose you've never been to Berlin then? Like a rash they were all uber the platz and were a pain in the arrse. One used to stop out side of Smuts Barracks and twice in two years phoned the guard room to tell them the Union flag was upside down.
