Perhaps the parents (responsible person) that allowed the little girl to ride the machine should be charged with manslaughter?
They are clearly 'not of this planet' for presenting such a beast to a little girl for a Xmas present..
I think the saying goes more money than sense..
Some would say that due to the death the parents have suffered enough, but if they were to face charges and maybe 2 or 3 years in the pokey then that would raise the profile of this sort of thing and could save other children's lives.
Sorry, there will be a slight delay as they are already attending to the dead policeman thread.
The RIP AND the Outrage Crew are off for the holidays. However I am more than willing to blame this on illegal immigrants and the Labor party.
That is all.
who are also presumably to blame for your poor spelling :D

I am all for kids doing sports with some risks in-I take my daughters rock climbing-with correct safety gear, but there is that risk factor-quad biking? why not-with the right gear and in an appropriate place-which a main road after dark is not.
The article in the Mail states that she and her ten year old brother had both been given matching quads. So I guess her brother is glad to be alive.
When I looked at the time they went out, 19.00hrs the first thing I thought was;
"It must have been pitch black, on a 60mph country lane what were they thinking of?"
For myself I am very sorry that any child dies, but maybe this is the time for the parents to step away from the breeding pool, and put the ten year old up for adoption.
A terrible tragedy but the blame must lie with the parents. Where I live, I am sick to death of having to duck into hedgrows when walking the dog because kids on motorbikes and quads are racing down the pavements. They are usually heading just up the road where a farmer has turned some ground into a scramble track. No problem with that; in fact I wish I had been able to afford to do something like that when I was a kid. But it's the parents who don't think about transporting their kids there safely that are at fault. FFS if you must buy your child an off road toy then buy a fcuking trailer to get it somewhere that it can be used under control and supervision!
Meanwhile I keep finding myself going on e-bay and typing 'Piano Wire' in the search thingy!
Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away. But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best.
I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself; I’m having that.

That would certainly be worth the effort.
If you killed your child you would be had up for murder. This is no different to manslaughter, so action should be taken. If only the NcCanns case was as transparent.
:o
The driver, a 28-year-old woman, stopped but went home believing Elizabeth had sustained only cuts and bruises. Later tests on her for drink and drugs proved negative.
Elizabeth's father, Gary, 46, had told her: "Don't worry, she's not badly hurt."
But the girl later fell seriously ill and was airlifted to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford where she died.
So, let your 7 year old out, illegally, on a "toy" she's clearly too young to ride then, when she gets hit by a bloody Range Rover, don't bother getting her checked over at A&E - it might come out what happened.
They're horrible things to ride anyway: like powered prams. Sounds like the parents have more money than sense @ £1200 a pop. Why didn't they get the boy an airfix model and the girl a Barbie?

Poor little sod.
I'm sorry, much as I'd avoid the Bill, the law is clear, where someone is injured in a road traffic acident the police must be notified.

The law is also clear about who should be on the road and having ignored that, it's hardly surprising they didn't notify the police of the accident. No doubt they thought they owned the road too if they're anything like the Range Rover drivers I've met on narrow country lanes!
