Re: Creepy Crawlies -What bugs you?
A mate told me that the only thing more painful than a scorpion's sting was an encounter with a hornet in Germany.

Re: Creepy Crawlies -What bugs you?
In the Canadian Rockies mosquitoes the size of crane flies - for some reason they took a liking to my knees. All there bites erupted into little mini volcano look-alikes and oozed gunk continuously, my knees swelled up like footballs, and then happily after a while they stopped itching and started scabbing over so then it looked like my knees had a dose of the clap. Never happened before or since.
Next time I am there I will wear very thick clothing or drown myself in repellent.......Apologies if this has already been done, but this is a standard disclaimer for imbeciles who have nothing better to do than read threads all day long and point out when people repeat, misread or simply miss something that has already been mentioned (albeit briefly in text or via a link to an external site).

The big ones that hiss at you? Argh. Scientists rekon that if London is nuked the only things that survive will be cockroaches and Keith Richards. True. I seen it on a documentary on BBC2.
