Having just seen some clips on the Northwest news i did have a quick chuckle. The guy was funny and in his words "the only point of a joke is to make people laugh"

The man also did a hell of a lot for charity that very few people know about because, unlike a lot of people, he didn't go about telling everybody about it.

My dad told me about a time he was doing a speed trap near his house and Bernard brought them a couple of brews and some sandwiches with the line "Make sure you catch plenty of those barstewards, kids play round here." Couple of weeks later he promptly ripped the hell out of my dad and his colleagues when they went on a works do at the Embassy.

If I have nothing good to say about someone.....I don't say it....dead or alive.

But I am not a stand up comedian and fans aren't paying at the door to see me rip the pish out of people,
if I was however......then I would.

Everyone who paid money to see BM knew what they were letting thems in for, just like with Chubby Brown and other X rated comedians. I dont agree with some of his views and he was stopped from doing TV for his acts. Majority of those who he abused in his live acts still went back for more so you have to respect him for his views and his comedy genius.
