I see the grinning spiv wasn't at the Arboretum for the Iraq dedication today. Not sure if that was a good thing or bad. He sent them to war but on the other hand..................

I've called him Tony the Weasel since I met him in 1988 when I was sent to a Parliamentary Committee meeting. The person who sent me told me that he expected Tony to become PM.

While I may be more sympathetic toward Labour, the Tories have always treated me much better. Tony the Weasel reminded me of Alan B'Stard, which was made even more humourous by B'Stard switching parties in recent times.

Yes, he was groomed to be the worm he was.

We weren't doing anything top secret when I went to Parliament: it was a hearing on licence of right (intellectual property). We had an interest in this subject due to procurement issues.

Blair and I had a mutual revulsion upon first sighting. Enough so that I mentioned him to the person who sent me. He countered with his comment that Blair would be PM (and was proven correct).

So, go figure that one out!
