At the back of one of the houses a young woman was kneeling on the stones, poking a stick up the leaden waste-pipe which ran from the sink inside and which I suppose was blocked. I had time to see everything about her - her sacking apron, her clumsy clogs, her arms reddened by the cold. She looked up as the train passed, and I was almost near enough to catch her eye." I knew this was an ongoing discussion when I joined in a few days ago. But when you start doubting observable phenomena and putting fairy tales and creation myths before them, you've lost me.
That is discussing for discussions' sake and has nothing to with reason.
Oh...wait...damn!
Watch out! Kim Jong Il is watching you!
If wars were won by feasting, or, victory by song,
or safety found in sleeping sound, how England would be strong!
But honour and dominion are not maintained so.
They're only got by sword and shot, and this the Dutchmen know!

Said the cat's mother...
"Observable phenomena" isn't reality, it's a mental representation, so your interpretation is purely yours; and can only be regarded as only your truth.
Reason is drawn from hypotheses we intuit (so it's hardly an objective process). It's a limited way of 'knowing' about experience and doesn't fair well with the paradoxes of life and experience: we have to handle the mythos as well as the logos of life. We flow through life more like a river than compartmented-boxes, far too quickly for reason and empiricism to catch up with, hence Faith."As we moved slowly through the outskirts of the town we passed row after row of little grey slum houses running at right angles to the embankment. Speaking of many layers of truth, here are some brute facts about us and a bit of Human Understanding by the East-West Double-Bed Orchestra... which contains a lot of cuteness to ease eye as well as ear..."As we moved slowly through the outskirts of the town we passed row after row of little grey slum houses running at right angles to the embankment.
