when i was in the TA in the 90s I never saw anything worse than the usual 'wanker' hand signals, from passing cars but that was more than made up for by all the tits (and on occasion, centre creases) flashed by passing wenches - strangely, often with boyfriend driving!
I suspect the 'wanker' signals were from regulars - not the public. Probably 5a and badgerheed!
