Yeah, great, another fucking non job for a cunt who will probably be paid bucket loads for doing fuck all but piss the non special majority off! I could go more off on one about this but will probably burst a blood vessel. Anyway, probably will get ROP's for this sort of reply in this forum, but job titles like that really piss me off.

That was about it, I think to be honest. Maybe I am being unfair, but that is it in my limited experience.
Library's good, all on line IIRC. Never used (or heard of SCAS). Bramshill is very nice as well, particularly the accomodation near the deer park

They dream up all of the CBT's as well, so you a nice certificate to add to your PDR. That's a real 'job for the boys' imo

You can take a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. However, you can bl**dy well make it wish it had!

The best thing about my PDR was the sound it made hitting the bottom of the bin on my last shift. Thank feck I left when I did.

I'm so sorry, what is a CBT? I really don't recognise that three-letter acronym.

(So that's probably why I have a sparse PDR!)

    Ah yes.

Clearly my seniors have so much interest in my development that I don't merit even "clicky-clicky print the certificate".

Good enough to deal with suspects in custody at all the time though.

Oh well, pass they hat and let's have a pity-party for Boumer. Please don't shit in the hat, that's coming later courtesy of Tom Winsor.

Good enough to get a 'crime detected' tick-in-the-box? Or are they less worried about that now??

It's a big shit sandwich and we've all got to take a bite including plod.
For those who quoted my last bit I definately don't count the MP's and other twats who got us in this mess as being with us in any way. Shit sandwiches are canteen food but the privillaged few are eating in the resturant. What I meant is like it or not cuts are being made and for those of us working for HMG, every penny given to one group is a penny taken from another at the moment.

I wonder how many 'fellow citizens' have to fight with gangs of drunken blokes at 0300 in the morning whilst shouting down a radio asking for back up that is fully committed at other jobs or turning over decomposing bodies in stinking houses looking for ID.

The Police is nothing like any other job so don't try and compare it. I say that after 24 years in the Army.

Yes we need to reform and yes we need to take our share of the cuts but 20% is not sustainable and the cracks will begin to show. Crime goes up Police numbers drop, back room staff are sacked, Police officers have to do their job. The Judge at Court does not say Officer that's fine you forget about that, I understand.
And on the 7th day God created the Para Cdo and the Devil stood to attention.
