The police had already 'let it be known' that they considered there was a case to answer. The CPS would have been hard-pressed to let him off after that.

Your tinfoil hat must be causing early-onset dementia of you think Huhne's important enough to anyone for them to corrupt the criminal justice system over.

    Oh yes.
If there is any justice and he is found guilty, he should be hoisted up onto one of those windfarm eyesores, where he will be left to dangle for the duration of his sentence. Am I wrong in saying that this development is exciting me more than AMMM crashing and burning?

Funny. I was just thinking that Huhne and the AMMM verdict could make this the best Friday around here since the good ship Princess Productions pranced across the bay, whereupon the Black ARRSE quietly slipped her moorings and cracked on all sail, dark and demented figures swarming her rigging.

Somedays just make for perfect karma! With England currently re-discovering how to bat against Pakistan, I'm starting to get a warm glow. Who knows, I might even treat the missus to a pub meal tonight I'm feeling so content with the world (must get out of my pyjamas first though!).

All we need now is for someone to publish what it was that 'turdy' Bernie Gray of the MOD was trying to hide with his non-super-injunction, and joy will be unconfined.

There is no question so obviously stupid that it prevents one supposedly intelligent human from asking it of another.

Likewise, there is no human problem that cannot be solved by the correct application of the appropriate quantity of high explosive, the suitable quantity being derived by the Formula P, where P = "plenty"
