A mystery has just been solved. As a truck driver for the last 10 years or so, I had often wondered and at last have had it confirmed.
The missus has just bought a Beemer and, despite spending well over a hour reading the manual and another two hours sat fiddling with all the switches, I can confirm Beemers do not have indicators!!!!!!!!It's Tommy this an' Tommy that
an' "Chuck 'im out the brute",
But it's "Saviour of 'is Country,

When was the driving public ever consulted before these new spotlights which only come on when you are turning. How can we complain to a government agency about them?

Back to this again. Almost completely wiped out by some c**t in an old merc, he's going like hell fishtailing through a set of lights. If I hadn't stood the thing on it's nose I would have been buried in him. Told the peelers, couldn't have been less interested. Gave the reg. Oh that sounds like a foreign plate. Should be easy to find then...................Jesus I miss the old days when all you had to do was worry about the odd donegal plated motor attempting to negotiate a roundabout.
Was I hurt, well the term 'Fresh underwear' is now a thing of the past. No doubt if they're ever tracked down it'll be some non english speaking, uninsured, untaxed unregistered and when they go to the address given he'll be unheard of. Bastard.

Maybe the case on a mini roundabout, but many people don't bother to indicate on larger roundabouts. I sit there in an artic waiting for suitable gap to pull out, only to find 2 or 3 cars not indicating suddenly turn of just before me. Next car comes round not indicating so not being a mind reader I pull out. Why do they also feel the need to hug the roundabout as if they are turning right then suddenly branch off instead of indicating and moving towards the exit. I suppose the safest roundabout is the magic one in Swindon. No one has a clue where anyone is going so they all just approach with caution.
