Living in the right area for the right amount of time, attending a place of worship to qualify, moving lock stock and barrel arenot fraudulent. Not even bending the rules, merely meeting the criteria to get into the chosen school.

Stacker you seem to follow the fine old lefty habit of blaming the middle classes for doing their best, paying their taxes and generally following the rules, it must be a tradition or an old charter, or something.

Quite frankly the number of times you mention the chavs defrauding the DHSS to give their sprogs a better chance in life is a clear indicator that you have lead a sheltered existance. The number of pikies doing this should be offset against the larger number of pikey sprogs who truant most days to go thieving.
The local primary school bythe largest gypsy site in England faces closure, as non travelling folk got their kids out and moved to schools albeit further away where their children could get a reasonably undisrupted education. The presence of large numbers of stealing travellers failed to turn it into the grove of academe you seem to believe is what the average doley seeks for their kids, if they even know where or who they are.

In conclusion, wishing the world to be perfect and fair will not make it so. Total honesty, whilst an admirable aspiration, will mark you down as a weirdo at best and a dangerous trouble maker to be watched at worst, try being totally honest in thought word and deed for a week, at work to superiors and juniors alike, in your private life to both friends and family. Ive been accused of being a few things but being lefty isnt one of them. I dont blame the middle class for anything I blame those who are middle class (or like to think of themselves as middle class) who think when they do something wrong its okay because they are not the chav underclass. They sneer at the dross while lying on official documents themselves and using their children as an excuse for their behaviour.
They arent following the rules if they are lying (and possibly taking a place away from a child who should have got it)? So why are they any different to the pikeys who lie their way through life? Is it because its more acceptable to use your children as an excuse?

You don't in Oz and finding $600 per week for tuition or a grand a week,both paymentts after tax, for tuition plus boarding, is beyond the reach of anybody other than high earners with an only child.

However, many of the State Schools here are crap. Therefore, I would do whatever it takes, short of bank robbery, drug dealing or embezzalment, to get my kid a good education. Fortunately, I can just about afford it at the moment but a bit of bad luck, sickness or redundancy and I would be f*cked.

I would have no compunction about lying about my post code or religion in these scenarios.

Stacker, I think you should join the Priesthood when you complete your 22 as you seem to already have a first class honours degree in ivory tower b*llshit.

Surely this argument is all moot. If you truly cared about your children you would have worked hard enough to be able to afford to get them privately educated. Anything else is surely just second rate.
