Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
So will Harman ban herself next for being sexist or will she change her name by deed pool to Harperson?

I think they (Labour Party), are trying to F everything over, before they get ousted, and leave the next lot with such a disaster to as to reflect bad on them?

Re: Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
The continued attacks by the PC brigade to attack alleged sexism , racism etc is just further spiralling down into the realms of the ridiculous .
We had " mankind " which became " humankind " and presumably if she continues on her merry way we will eventually end up with " hupersonkind " or something else equally ridiculous .
If this story is true then surely there are more pressing items for our Government Ministers to address their attention to .
Edited for ..... typo .There are those who know .... those who don't know .... but the most annoying , outspoken and dangerous are ....
those who don't know they don't know .

Re: Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
This is all to do with her face isn't it...
If she was a babe then her husband would still be interested in her, she'd be getting it regularly and she wouldn't feel the need to press for matters of equality and instead she'd be looking forward to her next sex session with hubby.
Anyone up for taking one for the country?
No?
Thought not.
They want to control our every thought, this lot. The sooner they're gone the better. I really hope the country doesn't fcuk up the vote at the election.

Re: Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
This loony concept is rooted in the wholesale misunderstanding of the word 'man' and there was a recent newspaper article which steadily demolished it. The original meaning of 'man', IIRC, is the all-encompassing 'member of the human race'.
Thus, the article argued, the term 'chairman' is already gender neutral. The problem therefore lies with our poor command of English, not some misplaced PC concept of gender bias.
And they call this progress."Anyone who says that they understand the situation in Vietnam hasn't been briefed properly."

It's probably on here somewhere else, but she's now an official nominee for "Rear of the Year".
Probably right as she has Ed Zachary condition...Every man has a right to utter what he thinks truth, and every other man has a right to knock him down for it.

She's a fcking tw4t.
When she was left alone to play with the toys over summer she started to do all this kind of poppycock as well.
Nevermind that alot of Labour law makers actually regret the ludicrous laws they have brought in - still continue to do it.
Although to be fair its a major thing. Just a title. But that's what annoys me - we are paying for her time and she uses it on this cr4p.X Factor Spoof! Safe for work! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qTYVnrhU_8

Re: Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
This is a joke, if it's true. I've discussed this at length with a variety of lady Chairmen, from Flower Clubs to SSAFA Committees and Small Companies.
Not one of them has ever wished to be named after a piece of furniture, and all have been happy that the term 'Chairman' applies to both genders.
Typical politician - fix something that isn't broken whilst ignoring the really important stuff like crime, finances, education and health! And this you can see is the bolt. The purpose of this
Is to open the breech, as you see. We can slide it
Rapidly backwards and forwards: we call this
Easing the spring. And rapidly backwards and forwards
The early bees are assaulting and fumbling the flowers:
They call it easing the Spring.
They call it easing the Spring: it is perfectly easy
If you have any strength in your thumb: like the bolt,
And the breech, and the cocking-piece, and the point of balance,
Which in our case we have not got; and the almond-blossom
Silent in all of the gardens and the bees going backwards and forwards,
For today we have naming of parts.

Re: Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
No doubt she'll want to ban most of the nouns in the English language. There's masculine &, feminine ergo Chairman & Chairwoman or in her case neuter... Chairperson.
Feck the PC brigade, I'll still carry on using the words Manager, Manageress, Headmaster, Headmistress, Barman & Barmaid & stuff asexual bitches like Harman.stercus accidit

Re: Harriet Harman backing move to ban the term chairman
Quite so, but Harriet Harperson is a woman who,s fear and hatred of anything remotely called "Man", sends her into paroxysms of shrieking vitriolic damnation that just seems boundless in it,s ridiculousness, and yet has a measure of support from among her supporters in the Liabour Partei ( hopefully with collective tongues in cheeks ), secretly hoping that "His High and Mighty Top Banana", Broon, will shuffle her off to the back benches PDQ.
